Herb Fried Chicken For use with California Herb Grill: 1/2 cup flour 1 1/2 tsp salt (optional) 2 tbsp Aromatica California Herb Grill 2 2-pound frying chickens, cut into pieces Peanut oil, enough to cover bottom of skillet about 1 inch In a paper bag combine the flour and spices. Add a few pieces of chicken at a time then shake well to coat with the seasoned flour. Place peanut oil in a heavy skillet and heat to 375° or until extremely hot but not smoking. Drop the chicken pieces into the hot oil and cook until golden brown on one side. Turn and cook the other side until brown. Pinch Aromatica California Herb Grill over the chicken after turning over. Drain on absorbent toweling. |
